focuses specifically on gemological services such as:

* jewellery appraisal
* gemological education and promotion
* writing feature articles on jewelers, jewelry, gemstones, gemcutters and carvers.

LithoGem is managed by Elizabeth Burnett, G.G., R.M.V.P., a professional gemologist and education instructor who received her training from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the Master Valuer appraisal program. Elizabeth has lectured on gemology for a number of years, is an award winning jewelry designer, has exhibited her art at numerous galleries and juried shows and has written extensively for a multitude of publications.
